About Us

Fostering Faith is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that partners with local churches to host a program for children in foster care grades Pre-K through 5th grade. Our mission is to bring the hope of Jesus to children in foster care while also providing consistent and reliable respite for foster parents.

Well, hello!

My name is Jesseca Kane and I’m the founder of Fostering Faith. In July 2022, I had the privilege of volunteering as a summer camp counselor with an organization called Love For A Child where I got to spend a week loving on 40 precious kids in foster care. During that week, God broke my heart wide open, stirring something deep in my spirit for the foster care community. I remember coming home and telling my family, “There is no way I can go back to my 9-to-5 job.” You can imagine my excitement when three days later I was laid off.

By this point, I knew God was clearing my path for something new so I asked Him to reveal it to me. One week later, He gave me a vision for a ministry that partners with local churches to host a weekly program for young children in foster care. I knew this was a calling from the Lord so I jumped in with both feet and started Fostering Faith. The opportunity to lead this ministry is an absolute gift from God. I am honored to serve the foster care community in this way.

With Love,
Jesseca Kane
