Our Program
Throughout the school year, we offer a weekly respite program for children in foster care, from Pre-K through 5th grade. Each week, foster parents drop their children off at one of our partner church locations, where trained volunteers care for them in a safe and supportive environment. During their time with us, children share a meal, play with other children in foster care, and learn about Jesus. Meanwhile, foster parents have a few hours to rest and recharge.
What does a day at Fostering Faith look like?
Eat
We provide a meal so children are nourished and ready to engage, while giving foster parents one less thing to worry about.
Play
We create a safe, welcoming space where children can play, laugh, and connect with other children in foster care.
Learn
Through a Bible-based curriculum, we help children discover their value and identity as children of God.
Where is our program located?
Registration is open for the 2026–27 school year! We’re excited to partner with Haven CRC in Zeeland to host our program and provide a welcoming space for children in foster care.
Free for Foster Parents
Our program is completely free for foster families, thanks to the generosity of our church partners, volunteers, and financial supporters.
Trauma-Informed Volunteers
Our volunteers are trained to understand the unique needs of children in foster care and respond with love, grace, and compassion.
Safety First
We work closely with our church partners to maintain appropriate safety measures and provide a secure, supportive environment for every child.
Privacy Conscious
We understand the sensitive nature of foster care and take every precaution to protect the privacy and confidentiality of the children and families we serve.
How do foster parents join our program?

We’ll reach out to share more about our program and answer any questions you may have.
Step 3
We’ll send you the registration paperwork to complete.
Step 4
Once you’re registered, we’ll provide the program schedule and guidelines so you know what to expect for drop-off and pick-up.
