Our Program
Fostering Faith is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that hosts a respite program for families with children in foster care, ages 3 years old through 5th grade. Once a week throughout the school year, foster parents have the opportunity to drop their children off at our partner church location where they are cared for by a group of dedicated and compassionate volunteers who have been trained in the unique needs of children in foster care. Our program provides short-term respite for foster parents as well as a positive experience for children in foster care.
What does a night at our program look like?
Eat
We feed children to ensure they are nourished and focused, lightening the load for parents.
Play
We create a safe space where children can play, laugh, and connect with other children.
Learn
We teach a Bible-based curriculum to show children their inherent value
as a child of God.
Where is our program located?
Registration is open for the 2025-26 school year! We are partnering with Haven CRC in Zeeland to host our program.
Free for Foster Parents
Foster families are able to access our program free of charge thanks to the generosity of our church partners and those who support us financially.
Trauma-Informed Volunteers
Our volunteers are versed in the unique needs of children in foster care and are trained to respond with love, grace, and compassion.
Safety First
Safety is our top priority. We work diligently with our church partners to ensure all appropriate safety measures are taken to keep children safe.
Privacy Conscious
Due to the sensitive nature of the foster care system, we take extra measures to ensure any information shared with us remains confidential.
How do foster parents join our program?

Complete the interest form on our website, send us an email, or give us a call.

We’ll provide you with a detailed program schedule and our registration paperwork.
Step 3
Complete our registration paperwork.
Step 4
We’ll share our program guidelines so you are prepared for drop-off and pick-up.
